IATF 16949 – 3rd party Auditor – Examination Phase 2 (ID 235)
The qualification process for IATF 16949 – 3rd party auditors was defined by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and is divided into the following steps:
Phase 1
- Processing of ADP online modules
- Participation in the four-day IATF 16949 – 3rd party auditor qualification (ID 230)
- Completion of knowledge and application examinations
- After passing the exam, a 4-AUD-B identification number valid for two years is issued.
Phase 2
- Completion of the qualification process with a final examination
Prerequisites for Attendance
- Successfully completed phase 1 of the qualification process
- The 4-AUD-B identification number was issued 12 to 24 months prior to the “Phase 2” exam date
- Participation in a virtual live pre-meeting at ADP
Examination
The examination focuses on the five essential competence criteria for auditors defined in the IATF Auditor Guide and includes the assessment of a case study and an examination interview with two qualified IATF evaluators.
