Here we inform you about news as well as new publications concerning the area of the publication of yellow, red and blue gold volumes of the VDA as well as the IATF 16949 series.

Yellow volume

After confirmation in the QMA, the documentation of the successful project group work is placed on the VDA QMC website free of charge for participation and information, so that industry or interested parties have the opportunity to provide appropriate feedback.

Red volume

The feedback is incorporated into the yellow volume or rejected with reasons given to the submitters. The resulting red volume is presented to the QMA for approval. If the red volume is approved, it can be referenced as an applicable document in the bilateral contracts.

Blue-gold volume

Analogous to the red volume, but with the claim to work more in process orientation instead of topic-focused with the process themes. Blue-Gold volumes have been published since approx. 2000 until approx. 2010. Apart from the revisions of the previous volumes, no further new volumes will be published.
