Working Group 13

The objective of working group 13 in the VDA is to define requirements for the performance of process assessments and for the monitoring of resulting process improvements in the development of software-defined systems, based on Automotive SPICE^®.

By defining the requirements for the assessment process, the procedure is to be standardised so that the companies involved in an assessment can better adapt to the assessments and the comparability and reproducibility of the results is improved.

The working group 13 has developed the new version 4.0 of Automotive SPICE^® and the corresponding “VDA Automotive SPICE^® Guidelines 2.0″ (blue gold volume). The current activities include the preparation of a specific and lightwave assessment model for supplier evaluation before nomination/collaboration and the revision of the Automotive SPICE for cybersecurity model.
