By completing the examination, you can have your qualification confirmed by an independent party and receive the “Quality Manager – QM System Architect” certificate.

You will be certified as a Quality Manager who is able to successfully implement and improve quality standards in daily practice, design and further develop a quality management system and successfully apply quality methods.

• Successful completion of the Quality Manager Self-Learning Program (ID 130).
• Participation in the four-day training course “QM System Architect” (ID 131).
• Participation in an auditor qualification based on DIN EN ISO 19011 is recommended (e.g. qualification as VDA Auditor (ID 104)).
• Participation in a training course “Automotive Core Tools” is recommended (e.g. Automotive Core Tools (ACT) for Quality Management in the Automotive Industry (ID 415)).

Admission to the exam is only granted after successful review of the application.

The examination takes place as a simulation of one or more core tasks of a Quality Manager. The evaluation focuses on performance within the simulation. Both technical and communication skills will be assessed.

The examination consists of:

• a preparation phase (30 minutes)
• a practical simulation (20 minutes)
• an interview (5-10 minutes)

Written materials provided during the attended VDA training courses (including standards volumes) are permitted for preparation and must be brought with you on the examination day.

After passing the examination, you will receive a certificate with a registered number. The certificate is valid for an unlimited period.
